This pendant features a gold bearing quartz nugget. All natural, untreated and earth mined, it was cut into a flat slice with a polished surface. This nugget has a beautiful color contrast between the white quartz, the yellow gold veins and black hematite specks.
Gold in quartz is an incredible rare find. It has only been discovered in a few area worldwide and is the rarest form of gold. The material for this piece was found in Prescott/ Arizona.

Nugget weight is 9.59 grams. The majority of the weight is gold, some of it visible on the surface of this nugget, some of it hidden in the quartz. Measures 47 x 17.5 x 6.5mm (1.85 x 0.69 x 0.25 inches) overall.
