This gemstone is a natural, untreated Purple Haze Sunstone from Tanzania. Left raw and uncut in shape, it has a highly polished front and back side. Base color is red with various shades ranging from almost black to blood red, salmon and orange. Depending on the angle you can observe a rolling chatoyant flash on both sides.
Measures 33.5 x 19 mm, weight is 7.47 grams (37.35 carats).
Safely held by a hand crafted, textured sterling silver setting, dark grey oxidized. Bail opening is 8 x 6.5 mm, ready to accommodate even thicker chains or leather cords. Marked with 925.
