This coin was minted under Gallienus, Emperor of the Roman Empire 253 - 268 A.D., in Troas/ Alexandria.
The obverse depicts the laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus, inscribed IMP LICINI GALLIENVS.
The reverse depicts the she-wolf, suckling the twins Romulus and Remus. Inscribed: COL AVG above.
21mm in diameter, weighing 5.83 grams, very fine VF condition, ancient copper/ bronze alloy.
