This coin is an authentic artifact from the Roman Empire, minted 330-346 A.D. under Empire Constantine the Great. Ancient bronze alloy with original dark patina. The obverse depicts the helmeted bust of Roma wearing an imperial mantle, surrounded by URBS ROMA. The other side shows the she-wolf, suckling the twins Romulus and Remus. Above two stars. Lyons mint. Oblong shape, measuring 19 x 16.5 mm, extremely fine condition.
Set in a polished sterling silver setting. Bail inside diameter is 3.5 mm.
