This coin was minted in the Ancient Roman Republic (509 - 27 BC), approx. year 128 BC. The obverse depicts helmeted head of Roma, right; behind wreath. Reverse: Victory in biga, right, holding reins in both hands; below corn-ear. T•CLOVLI in exergue.
Very fine condition, measuring 20 x 19 mm. Original patina, partially dark toned. Denarius of 16 Asses denomination.
Safely held by a minimalistic 4-prong sterling silver setting, polished finish. Bail opening is 3.5 mm. Hallmarked with 925.
