The gemstone is a genuine Australian opal, mined in Lightning ridge. It is a black opal with a black and partially dark grey base color. In sunlight the gem shows an amazing blue, green and purple play of color. The gemstone measures about 8.8x6mm, and is safely held by a 4-prong gold setting.
The opal band is 2.0mm wide, the matching wedding band is also 2.0mm wide. Made from sterling silver, with solid 14k gold accents that will not wear off but stay gorgeous forever. Hallmarked with 14k and 925.
