Star of this necklace is a semi-black opal from Lightning Ridge/ Australia. Genuine, untreated and earth-mined.
It's a semi black opal, measuring 12.5mm in diameter with a ribbon pattern, predominately green with some blues. Best seen in direct sunlight. Purchased from the mine owner and operator directly, that runs a small family operated business with sustainable mining methods and fair working conditions. Safely set in a bezel setting, made from solid 14k gold.

Surrounded by a river of solid 14k yellow gold granules in different sizes. Base of the pendant is black oxidized sterling silver with several textures. Marked with 14k and 925 on the back. The bail can accomodate chains up to 5mm diameter.

The back could be engraved with a short message (about 20 characters max).
