The gemstone is a stunning, uncut blue sapphire gemstone from Afghanistan. Untreated, earth-mined and left completely natural. Acquired at a local gem show from a trusted gemstone seller.
The sapphire has the most beautiful teal-blue color, a natural half moon shape and a natural shiny surface. The gemstone measures 12x5mm with 5.14 carats weight, and is safely held by a 14k gold bezel setting.

The ring band is 5mm wide and made from sterling silver, black oxidized. Carved with fine lines all the way around and adorned with flat gold granules ('pancakes'), three on each side of the sapphire. Inside comfort fit and hallmarked with 14k and 925.
