This coin was minted in Northwest Gaul (nowadays the area of France's Brittany peninsula), by the Gallic tribe Coriosolites in the 1st century BC.
The Celtic tribe forged this coin after a stater coin from the Greek Philip II of Macedon era.
The reverse depicts a stylized horse and rider, VF condition. The obverse would depict a human head to the right (AF condition).
The coin itself is made from an ancient bronze/ copper alloy, 21mm in diameter, weighing 6.05 g.
Safely held by a three prong setting, handmade from solid sterling silver and polished to a nice shine. Bail inside diameter is 5mm.
This coin is NOT a replica, but a real ancient artifact. You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
An awesome gift for a special person, coin collectors or also to keep for yourself. Dainty pendant you can wear on an everyday basis or for a special occasion.
