The rough gemstone is a genuine fire opal from Mexico, all natural, earth-mined and untreated. A gorgeous fiery orange color with smooth & shiny surfaces. Held against the light the opal is translucent. A few natural light matrix areas are present, proof of it's natural creation. The internal pattern makes it resemble dragon scales.
Safely set into a sterling silver setting, handmade for this particular stone and adjusted to perfectly fit. Dark oxidized. Bail opening is 5.5 mm.
