Megalodon, meaning "big tooth", is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 23 million to 3.6 million years ago, during the Early Miocene to the Pliocene.

Set in a sterling silver setting that was made for this fossil in particular, and is perfectly adjusted to the shape. Hand filed and hand engraved 'teeth' give it an overall sharky character, together with the shark fin bail and a 'bitten' frame. Grey oxidized. Bail opening is 8x6mm. Marked with 925.
