This beautiful gemstone is a rare covellite - all natural, untreated and earth-mined from Montana/ US. Patterned by swirls of gold, contrasting with the dark midnight blue metallic color. In the sun the midnight royal blue color turns into a very dark blue (almost black) with elusive purple hues. Hand cut into a thick triangle shape, measuring 29 x 29 x 27 mm, weighing 51.16 carats. Set in a closed bezel setting for protection.
The bracelet itself is made from extra thick 9.5 mm and 6.5 mm wide sterling silver links, with a hefty clasp, hallmarked with 925 and dark oxidized. At 9 inches length the bracelet weighs 49 grams.
