This opal is an earth mined gemstone from South Australia.. This gorgeous stone has a dark body tone with pinfire in all rainbow colors. Highly polished surface. As most Andamooka opal, this one has been carbonized (cooked in sugar and sulphuric acid baths) to create the dark body color and make the play of color stand out.
