The uncut gemstone is an untreated, earth-mined Emerald from the Jos Plateau/ Nigeria. It has a electric, neon green color with blue undertones, caused by vanadium. Beautiful translucency with various colour saturations that catch the light and give the gemstone an internal glow. Few dark natural inclusions in one area. The front is a perfectly crystallized shape, the back side is more 'raw', covered in natural etchings and proof of it's earth-mined origin. Gemstone weight is 42.92 carats.
Set in a handcrafted solid 14K yellow gold setting, with a modern ice matte finish. Bail opening is 7.6 x 6.3 mm. Marked with 14k.
