This gemstone is a natural, untreated Purple Haze Sunstone from Tanzania. Left raw and uncut in shape, it has a polished front and back side. Base color is a dark orange red with grey areas, creating an interesting pattern. Depending on the angle you can observe a rolling chatoyant flash on both sides. Measures 32 x 16.5 mm, weight is 8.15 grams (40.75 carats). Safely held by a hand crafted, textured sterling silver setting, dark grey oxidized. Bail opening is 7.5 x 6.5 mm, ready to accommodate even thicker chains or leather cords. Marked with 925.
