The meteorites weigh about 5g each, measure 15-20mm in size and go perfect with every outfit. Each meteorite pair will look slightly different from the one shown in the photos, but they give you an idea what yours will look like. We try to match them in size and shape for you.

You can choose from brass cufflink backs (pictured) or solid sterling silver backs. They are safely soldered onto the meteorites directly with silver solder.

The Campo del Cielo meteorite came from outer space and hit earth about 5000 to 6000 years ago in Argentina. The meteorite was discovered in 1576 and pieces were found in more than 26 craters. The meteorite consists of 92.6% pure iron, 6.68% nickel, 0.43% cobalt and traces of other elements. Scientists believe this meteorite originated from the Asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, and formed around 4.5 billion years ago, like the majority of our solar system.
