This boulder opal is a genuine, earth-mined and untreated gemstone from Queensland/ Australia. Acquired directly from the miner at a local show this gemstone was mined in a sustainable mining operation. Measures about 11x8mm. It has a stunningly bright play of color ranging from purple to blue and green, best seen in direct sunlight. Safely set in a solid 14k gold bezel setting.
The ring band is 3.5mm wide and 1.5mm thick with a comfort fit. Patterned with a scale texture. Dark oxidized and hallmarked with 14k and 925.
