This genuine Megalodon tooth fossil is very well preserved with no cracks and a dark color.
Megalodon, meaning "big tooth", is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 23 million to 3.6 million years ago, during the Early Miocene to the Pliocene.
Accented with a genuine blue turquoise nugget from Kingman/ Arizona. It measures 19 x 16 mm and is safely set in a closed bezel setting.
Set in a sterling silver setting that was made for this fossil in particular, and is perfectly adjusted to the shape. The surface has a matte finish. Bail opening is 8.5 mm. Marked with 925.
