This rare gemstone is a genuine Moldavite, found in the Czech Republic. It has a gorgeous olive green color, translucent body and a natural raw surface. Weighs 13.24 carats. Safely held in a sterling silver setting, black oxidized, and marked with 925. Bail opening is 4.5mm.
Moldavites were formed about 15 Million years ago, when a meteorite struck Europe. Splatters of material that was melted by the impact cooled while being actually airborne, and most fell in Bohemia/ Czech Republic.
