This genuine Suchomimus tooth is an authentic fossil, found in the Erlhaz Formation/ Tenere Desert, Niger. Suchomimus was a spinosaurid, that lived between 125 and 112 million years ago (Early Cretaceous) in what is nowadays Niger. The first fossils belonging to Suchomimus were discovered in 1997 by an American palaeontologist.
Set in a sterling silver setting that was made for this fossil in particular, and is perfectly adjusted to the shape. Hand filed and hand engraved, the structure matches the character of the fossilized tooth. Grey oxidized. Bail opening is 8mm. Marked with 925.
