This genuine Sarcosuchus tooth is an authentic fossil, found in the Erlhaz Formation/ Tenere Desert, Niger. Sarcosuchus is a distant relative of modern crocodiles that lived between 133 and 112 million years ago (Early Cretaceous) in what is nowadays Africa and South America. It was a terrifying predator with 31 feet in length, weighing over 4 tons.
Set in a sterling silver setting that was made for this fossil in particular, and is perfectly adjusted to the shape. Grey oxidized with a hammered pattern. Bail opening is 7.5mm. Marked with 925.
