Each one of these coin was minted under Prince Philip of Taranto, between 1294-1313. Minted in the Principality of Epirus and Corfu (Crusader and Christian states in the Eastern Mediterranean).
The obverse depicts the Knights Templar cross, surrounded by ✠ ⚜ PhS • P • TAR • DESP ⚜. The reverse shows a Castle tournois, surmounted by cross and surrounded by ✠ +NEPANTI CIVIS+. Made from an ancient silver alloy, and between 17mm and 19mm in diameter.
All coins are real ancient artifacts and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
