This gemstone is a natural, untreated Rainbow Meteor Shower Sunstone from Morogoro Region, Tanzania. Left raw and uncut in shape, it has two highly polished sides. Base color is a deep orange-brown, with the rolling rainbow lattice pattern showing up when moved. Measures 30 x 11.5 mm, weight is 12.8 carats. A small lab created diamond (2 mm in diameter) is set into the sunstone as a small accent, giving this pendant extra sparkle.
Sterling silver bail. Hallmarked with 925. Bail opening is 7 x 5 mm.
