This gemstone is a genuine, all natural welo opal from Ethiopia. Untreated, earth-mined and cut into a trillion shape. Measures 11 x 10.8 x 10.8 mm and weighs 1.45 carats. With an ethereal blue base color, it glows in electric green, yellow and orange play of colors. So bright they can even be seen indoors.
The opal is nestled in a watercast base, created by watercasting molten silver directly into water. Adorned with 18K gold dust, fused to the surface. The bail accommodates chains up to 4 mm in diameter.
